Epson Eco-Tank 7750

I have an Epson Eco Tank 7750. Had it since 2019.

I am a heavy user and print daily as I run an online business.

I have had the following message tonight on the printer:

The Borderless print ink pad is near the end of it’s service life.

Actual message

The printer's borderless printing ink pad is nearing the end of its service life. It is not a user-replaceable part. Please contact Epson support.

That depends on your capabilities - did you do similar actions already before ?

You most likely need a service manual to give you guidance for the dissassembly.

Absorber pads are available, look here for items 550, 551 and 580-582

These pads catch the overspray ink when you print borderless, if you don't need to print borderless rather turn off that option in the driver so that this counter is not incrementing.

The actual reset of this counter should be possible with the WicReset utility, it may give you the option to reduce the counter for free by some %, if that's not supported for this printer model - it could be since the ET-7750 has a user replaeable waste ink/maintenance box it cannot be resetted. And you may need the service/adjustment program to do a reset.

Thanks for your reply. The 7750 is not supported on WicReset utility.

Tricky bostages. WicReset does support the ET-7750 but not the function you want.

What is the process for your printer? Besides using the Espon Adjustment Program what else do you need to do? Replace the Waste Ink Maintenance Box?

Maintenance box is half full, just got a message about the borderless ink pad needs service
