does this come with the dye ink?

with hoses filled and ready to install?

Orlenz
Hi Orlenz

All Artisan CISS units come pre-filled with "Claria like" non OEM, Dye based ink, (ink tubes filled, ready to go) total 660ml

Ask Martin (websnail) about waste tanks and software reset utilities, he is one of the experts in that area.

If you buy it on the website put a remark in the comment box that you are a member of the "Inkjet Printer Forum" and I will rebate you 10% of your purchase thru the month of Aug 09.

You can email me direct thru the website

Thank you

Another word on cheap CISS

Here is a photo of one of the CISS Artisan knock offs. The alignment of the combo chip is critical. Each contact point on each cartridge must be exact.

In this photo you can see that the magenta and light magenta cartridge are not spaced correctly and the magenta chip is warped, resulting in cartridge not recognized by the printer.

This is the first time I ever encountered a request for a user name and password when viewing YouTube. Is this something new or can you provide another link that doesn't require that?

Well by trying to save some money I just threw away $60

I bought one from Devinshedder on ebay, got it today,

ink hoses are almost empty, printer does not recognize the light magenta cartridge,

at least this POS has a 30 day warranty, I am mailing it back tomorrow.

Hi orlenlz

According to Joyce. you left out a few details.

You can get an CISS that is empty for testing proposes with the intention of buying a volume purchase.

Here is a copy of her email regarding your inquiry.

Dear Leonard;
Thanks for your e-mail inquiry.
yes i quoted this customer $11.00 without ink. but first he told me interested in large quantity and only need 1pcs for test the quality so we quoted him $11.00/pcs

LJ do you get parts from Joyce?

I am wondering if her systems are any good, I have already ruled out a couple other suppliers,

what do you think of her systems, pros, cons?

I was thinking about buying 18 - 20 systems for resale, but need to find the right combo of good cartridges, chip, ink etc first.

we have CIS systems on all of our wide format printers at work, but those systems are made by the printer manufacturer, when we get into home printers it's a whole new ballpark, gotta buy stuff imported from china and hope it works,

but this is getting to be a hassle trying to communicate with people in China is very trying, and time consuming, might be easier to just buy completed systems after all,

I have the 700, both my sons have the 800, and we have (2) 800's at work also.

also forgot to mention that we have a couple other epsons and some HP printers at work also, I'll see if the bos wants to do those also, if I can get a bunch hopefully it can drive the price down some.

I'll get a list together monday and see what we are looking at
