I may buy the .48 size next time since the .22 plugged up with some pigment ink. Otherwise I'll just stick to the dye-base pints I have. Dye-base seems to work OK in all my printers. The dye-based ink filtered pretty well, and my Epson R280 is drinking it like no tomorrow. That was a printer that my SIL had sitting on his desk unused for about three (maybe four) years. I used this method to unplug it. I figured if my "experiment" ink clogged it up, at least I knew how to get it working again.

A word of caution: if you're going to filter ink, wear old clothes, and try doing it outside, because if the filter "explodes" it splatters all over!
