Gruesome images on that Weegee site!

Will a bit of prolonged pressure under glass or even a domestic iron not press it back to 2D?

As far as i1 studio is concerned, my fairly old, (certainly a few years), Colormunki Photo seems to perform quite well.

Something very similar, what we used to dry our prints back in the B&W days, was a pane of glass and a cotton sheet and sandwich the print in between, then iron the cotton sheet, the print would come out slightly curved...

Hello guys
Have you tried Coloris
This software is fully compatible with the i1 Studio (ColorMunki Photo)
www.coloris-app.fr
With this software, you can create profile with the same kind of target than an i1 Pro and you can do lot of thing more.
And the first version is free...

i1 studio colormunki have updated the software today
v1.1 update includes:

  • New Data Save Workflow for all modules of printer profiling – enables users to start the printer profiling process, pause it any time and resume automatically where they left off . Ideal for users that would like to print test targets from another application, speed up the process to profile several paper types, allow for extended paper drying time or profile a remote printer not on their network.
  • Ability to save ICC profiles in either Version 4 or Version 2
  • Profile Reminder feature to remind users to re-profile their displays
  • Updated sepia look in Black & White workflow
  • Several usability improvements and minor bug fixes

I made a display and printer profile with the new version.
Wonder why ICC version 4 is set as default.
Seems to me the length of the paper name is limited compared to previous.
No other objections.

Epsons, Canons, Brother.
Question as I'm new to iStudio 1.1 using the older Colormunki Photo.

If you choose to Optimize Profile in iStudio, do you leave the printer color management OFF with the test print loaded, or leave it as set to the profile you made?

I'm guessing the later with Epson Standard (sRGB) Automatic shown when the printer preferences window pops up, or check the Custom > ICM box instead?

Tia.
