I had a quick look to this new i1Studio version - without the ColorMunki spectro, x-Rite is apparently bringing their software packages - Colormunki and i1Profiler - closer together, this new update very much looks like the i1Profiler user frontend - the layout, the symbols, the sequence of profiling steps, parameter entry etc - even graphics and symbols are the same and most likely the actual profiling engine running in the back of all those windows. The software is crippled in its functionality, choice of instruments you can connect, layout and number or color patches and more options which are available in i1Profiler. I think the special mode to create profiles for B/W printing takes away lots of problems user are faced with otherwise - special inksets, colour casts etc. And this module is not available in the current i1Profiler version, it may come with the next update
