Hi there.

I have an old S6300 (A3+ format) canon printer.

Here is an example of how it prints (tried a new printer head, but still hadn't changed a thing!). will REALLY appreciate your help!

I'm going to guess it's a dirty timing strip. It's almost invisible and stretches from one side of the printer to the other and goes through the back of the print head. Look at it carefully to see if you can spot any ink deposits on it. Then with the cover open, unplug the printer so that you can move the print head from side to side. Put some Windex or other window cleaner on a soft cloth and gently wipe both sides of the timing strip. Let us know if this solves your problem.

eranglr..

I have seen double image on a printer before if thats what your problem is. It was corrected by using a different usb cable and a different socket. The guy had to unistall the print driver, unplug the printer and then reboot. Reinstall the driver (like the first time), that corrected the problem for him. Hope this helps..

It works!!!!!!!!!!!
ghwellsjr - you are GREAT!

I did what you said - toke a soft cloth with a some window cleaner liquid, cleaned both sides of the timing strip and - walla! after 5 minutes it print like new!

Thank you so much.

Now I am planing to install the CISS system I bought on Ebay and see how the printed result will be. (do I need to take care of something when using CISS?).

Thanks for the accolades, but in truth, I just learned it from someone else here on the forum. This forum is GREAT because we learn from each other. So do your part and help someone else with something you have learned. They will thank you and call you GREAT.

CISS is something I have never tried or experimented with and I don't really understand your question but I'm sure someone else can help you with regard to CISS. If you don't get an answer here, it might help to repost your question with more detail on the InkJet Continuous Flow Systems forum.

And again, I appreciate the thanks and you're very welcome.
