Just got a new canon pro9000 instead of putting oem carts in I put in a ciss. It worked ok for about a week and the lights on the printer cart went out so I placed the oem canon carts in they worked but the ink monitor says they are full when empty. Now when I try to replace a cart it wont except it no light on for the cart. Put the original cart in and the light is back on. Got generic carts and put those in and the light goes on but it does a head clean then does not recognise generic carts

Try getting yourself a resetter it might help reset all the chips on the generic,
CISS and OEMs cartridges and get you back printing again..:/

Sounds like you may have a few dud chips on some of the cartridges
and/or the printer is having some difficulty trying to read from them.

You could try shutting down the printer unplug the USB cable and power cord for 5 minutes,
then put back in the cables and see if the printer has reset itself again.

Make sure that the CISS cartridges are all in place before you attempt the above procedure,
if it doesnt work then you may have to resort to refilling and reset your OEM cartridges to continue to print.. :th
