I recommend that you don't do that. New Canon print heads contain a transparent blue conservation fluid. When a new print head is installed, the printer does a nozzle clean to get rid of the conservation fluid and replace it with ink. The testing with empty carts installed causes the print head to take in air, which could lead to problems, as the print head relies on a steady supply of ink to cool the nozzle heaters. Don't unpack the new print head until you are ready to start using it.kevindd992002 wrote:
