My new (new to me at least) Canon IPF8300 is in the house! I got this for a ridiculously low price on eBay and the seller lived about 2 miles from me. I'll tell you want... this is one heavy printer. The original owner took very good care of it, as I can't see any ink residue any where. I cleaned up some minor dust and now it looks almost brand new.
I fired it up and I'm getting a "Close Carriage Cover" warning. I looked all around the cover and didn't see anything that looked like a sensor... does anyone know how to cure this issue?
