When I open the target in Photoshop, should I "Don't Color Manage" or "Convert to Working Space (Adobe RGB)"?pharmacist said:-Open your target file in Photoshop or equivalent program (I presume you use the "High Quality Target Plus Grays 1 of 2.tif").
That's what I figured, but wanted to be sure. Thanks. Targets are printing now. I'll let you know what happens.pharmacist said:Do not color manage: very important. It should NOT be changed !!!
Let me just add that these color targets never have an assigned color space - they are just a series of raw color numbers to send to the printer. You may have your default Photoshop color management set to automatically convert all images to your working color space and to not ask before making the change (the "Missing Profiles" box is unchecked). Make sure that you first set your Color management policy for RGB files to "Off" before opening these files to make sure that you don't add an unwanted color space to the image (be sure to turn it back on when you are done). This may seem strange, but remember that these files are not meant to be edited.pharmacist said:Do not color manage: very important. It should NOT be changed !!!
