I dough know but lately I seem to be having all kinds of problems. The latest is when I print out a nozzle check Im getting a bad looking PK check.
I had this a couple of weeks ago and then it disappeared. It came back yesterday morning and then disappeared again. Everything looked good last night. Today I was going to print some photos so I decided to run another nozzle check and bang there it is again. I tried another refilled cart that Im pretty sure is good but I get the same print out for the nozzle check.
Now I tried to scan a copy of the print out at 300 and 150 dpi but they both look terrible to me. The scan makes it look like all colors are bad with the pk being the worst. The scan also shows the pgbk is really bad but when I look at the actual print it looks very good. Whats goin on here.??
First one is 300dpi and second one is 150 dpi
I thought maybe the carts were not delivering enough ink so I plugged the german fill hole and blew into the vent to force ink out of the port on both carts til I got several drops of the black ink out. Cleaned up the port and put the cart back in and ran another nozzle check printout with the same results.
