Brother dc130c won’t print clearly certaincoliurs

Hi, my brother printer looks to ha dried ink
In the print head ,
Which solutions you use to clean the print head
I’ve read window cleaning solutions by Lidl or carpet stain remover are good.
Can you please comment how to clean the print head .

I'm not really clear from your description which is the condition the printer is currently in - is there ink in the cartridges - is the printer printing anything ? Please post a nozzle check to start with.

hi, It only print one colour on nozzle check the other lines are very dim.#

So - your info does not help that much - you may enter the maintenance mode as described in the manual

p 248 describes how you enter the service mode
and you do a purging function or two - function code 76

you get out of the service mode and print another nozzle check and look for changes if more nozzles are printing, plesae post a scan here

Thanks. The printer has not been used for a while, I think the ink might have dried out causing the problem.
Shall I try to clean printer head??

Did you do the strong nozzle purge/clean via the maintenance mode as described above in the service manual ?

If that does not help do a search for a youtube video with the keywords 'brother printhead cleaning or flushing or rinsing' , you may need a syringe, a tube and some cleaning fluid.

I think the ink might have dried out causing the problem.

Try using a complete new set of cartridges too.. and post a nozzle check please..
