Hello everyone.
Actually I am a canon mx 850 user. But I have spare EPSON geniune cartridges t0551, t0552, t0553 and t0554 which compatible for Epson R240, R245, RX420, RX425, RX520 model printers.

My canon printer normally uses PGI-5BK plack pigment cartridge. But I replaced this cartridge with CLC500B cartridge and printer worked on well without any printing issues any erros codes. Because dimension and and appearence of the both cartridges are exactly same.

Is it something like that possible on EPSON printers? I want to sell my cartridges to a Epson R1800 owner which uses 8 cartridges (t0540, t0541, t0542, t0543, t0544, t0547, t0548, t0549) because code numbers of the cartridges are close and appearences are look like resemble?

Thanks.

the R240 type printers are using dye inks, the R1800 uses pigment inks, the chips on the cartridges are coded such that this type of swapping won t work even if cartridges may look similar in size and dimensions.
