The profile views are already that much different in the darker range that BPC won't make much of a difference anymore, and BPC is on by default with the perc. rendering intent anyway.
the core question is why you are getting such different black points - which instrument(s) are you using to create the profiles with ArgyllCMS or other software ? And which printer/driver settings are used ?

I am using i1Studio.

Maybe also helps that i observed same with some glossy papers (Hahnemuhle GlossBaryta/PhotoRag Baryta, Ilford Smooth Pearl) and matt papers (Tecco PM230, PPM225, SAM200)... Also the same simptoms if i make profiles for Epson P600 or P800.

so you are using the i1Studio spectro as well to read the patches for ArgyllCMS ? Before you even can measure the color patches you need to find out why you are getting such different readings for the black level - can you just print a black patch and do several readings with both programs ?

You are reporting a L*ab = 14.73 .84 1.66 for the dark (100%) patch , that should be pretty much normal for a matte paper.
And now - when you do the scanning with i1Studio you are scanning the patch sheet with 100 patches I assume - on the same paper - please make a screen shot and post it here directly after the scan.
Are you using Windows or a Mac ?

Yes, that is for dark 100% patch.

I am scaning 505 patches with Argyll on A4 page, or 50 + 50 patches with i1Studio software. Don't understand which print screen you would like to see?

A am using mostly Windows for argyll, but when i tried on Mac, results with same patches were the same...

I'm using i1Publish, and I have seen that the I1Studio software is a kind of limited version of the I1Profiler software, very similar screens and settings etc, but without some of the advanced options.
Please let me see the screen which shows the black patch - after scanning.

It is very limited edition software, that's why i started using Argyll.

In xrite application, i can only scan black patches in the way to start in optimise profile mode, than save tiff file and read L*ab values in photoshop. Not usable, darkest black tone is measured with values L=1, a=0 b=0 for same patch that argyll measures L=14,73.

Here is screenshot after scaning 10 step patches with xrite i1Studio software. Pure improvisation, without possibilities to sabe as csv or txt file...

Thanks for your efforts and feedback, I understand that this is not the right place to look, this is already the optimization step, how does it look if you go one step back - after you have read the first 50 patches , doesn't it display the actual colors you have scanned ?
You have posted further above the plots of 2 profiles generated with different software, I still try to understand why you are getting such different readings for the black level of these two profiles.

Thank you for your efforts!

This are patches for i1Studio software - between there is cursor rolling and CPU gets really hot while making icc profile. It gos in 2 stages. Firs is one set of patches (.....EAM 1.jpg), than after reading first step of patches it generates second set of patches (.....EAM 2.jpg) and after reading it software creates icc profile. I can choose profile name, version (2 or 4) of profile and nothing else.
