OK, under #7 Printer I can see:

1) SSSW
2) NUMERIC param
3) PRINT COUNT
4) PRINTER RESET
5) INK ABS CAPA
6) CDR ADJUST

Now I really don't know which is the right one...

In this catagory I believe "ink abs capa" is correct where abs is short for absorber.

The deutsch is below but it's basicly saying that the #5 is capacity in terms of percent (0 to 100) which can be changed by the numeric pad, or in my experence a pair of other buttons if you have a printer like the mp760 without a numeric pad. After replacement set to '0'.

Keep in mind i've not tested any of this, and i'm quoting from a language I barely understand.

Also you may wish to copy off all your printer information before you go mucking in the menus

I believe system dump or service data will print off roughly 20 sheats from the rear feeder listing all your switches and options. Keep in a safe place cause most of these options are undocumented.

Unter dieser Position kann der gespeicherten Wertes ber den Fllstand des Alttinteabsorbers geprft/gendert werden. Der Behlter dient zur Aufnahme der bei Kopfreinigungen verbrauchten Alttinte. Die Eingabe eines Wertes in % (0 bis 100) erfolgt ber die numerische Tastatur.

Hinweis:
Vor Austauch der Haupt- bzw. Druckerplatine den gespeicherten Wert anhand der System-Dump-Liste
prfen und danach neu eingeben.
Nach Austausch des Alttinteabsorbers auf '0' zurcksetzen.
