Here goes with a photo of St Davids Abbey in West Wales UK The smallest City in the UK
Another of a 0 gauge model locomotive constructed from an etched kit very, very fiddley
Hope you enjoy them
Paul Verizzo is correct high technical quality at low prices but surely the problem is not the re-fillers but the compatibles who seem able to overcome every obstruction the various makers try to make. Wilko is also correct re-filling seems to be on the wane. 1. because it has become so much...
I use both methods but only OEM. Generally prefer the German method I always seem to get a big air bubble coming out with top fill and can never completely fill the cart. I now do not bother to keep a spare set ready but refill as soon as I get a low ink warning. rightly or wrongly I believe...
After many hours of effort and contact with Canon UK not a lot of help) have finally cracked the problem and am now connected via wireless. I re-installed wireless LAN from the router WPS button method (leaving all doors open). All the info. was on the 620 screen IP/Mac/channel etc.
However...
Thanks Harvey, already tried all of those ideas. oddly even after reset the wireless LAN still shows all the correct router information.
Wish now I had left well alone with the original USB cable
My printer worked perfectly on USB cable but I thought why not get it doing it wirelessly for when the grandchildren want to send print commands from the lounge. I duly carried it out to router area plugged it in and selected WPS in the LAN settings I then pushed the WPS button on router and...
Thanks for the hope Lukasz I have left mine on the top of a radiator (only occasionally warm at the moment) but worth a try. No doubt other ignorant users would like to know the contacts you use to test the short circuit and what setting on the multimeter.
I thought I would clean the PB channel from the old 620 which did not show at all on previous nozzle checks. Ran warm water to clear all channels and then started on the PB pickup fitted a tube filled with windolene (No Windex here) the column did not really move so filled a syringe and tried...
Thanks Lukasz New batch of ink so looks like more cleaning is required. Prints not bad but seem less saturated than my old print head, but with that one no PB at all so that inlet channel being cleaned.
At least got a printer which works and can use up the new batch of ink recently bought, and...
Got the used Canon Pixma MP620 printing reasonably bot good nozzle check but still only 1 good Magenta. Does the lack of the 2 lighter ones indicate still blocked nozzles or logic board problem. There is not a slightest trace of magenta on the other 2 bars
Further to my first post cleaned head but the flow test to input with a piece of tubing flowed slowly and the last 1/2" remained. Dried re-installed This time got a good nozzle check except only 1 Magenta strip. trial of stock photos were hopeless colours all wrong. looks like I bought a pup.
I recently recounted my travails with my much loved 620 but still had a good head available. The same model was advertised on E-bay which implied not used for a few weeks and needed a PGBK cart. There was keen interest in this machine and I duly won the auction.
Fillled the OEM PGBK cart user...
correct me if I am wrong but most models will only come with starter cartridges (unfillable) and you will presumably still have to purchase a XL OEM set which is going to cost a fair bit plus your ink bundle as I assume the new CLI521 inks recently bought will not be compatible.
They sound as...
I am well out of date regarding the current Canon range and in particular cartridge types. What if any can be refilled/reset. This is to replace the Pixma MP620 just died with error codes nothing I did but still got a good print head I can sell to off to off set cost. or sell all for spares...
Tried connecting scanner as per Lukasz post 19 (all cables?) unfortunately I mentioned previously that I bent the top right 4 pin orange connector and whilst trying to balance the scanner unit it broke off. I could still manage to push the plug on the protruding board pins as a temporary...
Problem back again just because I did a nozzle check, this showed no cyan but tank was full. I tried blowing through vent and it did not seem to flow freely. I refilled spare pulled yellow which tank was empty but display showed full so refilled that one. As soon as you drop the scanner lid...
Just to confirm now got good nozzle check, M/C is doing its usual whirring/clicking sounds but not for so long. I have set up a new wireless connection and is now responding normally to a printer command. For now seeing I am getting normal output rightly or wrongly will carry on as it is, and...
OK took covers off but not as far Lukasz purge pump phase which involves removing the logic board. Could not find any loose bits. print head moved smoothly up and down. 1 point I was using a compatible/recycled PGBK which I thought had a small bump on the top so checked it cleared both ends ok...
Thanks PeterBj its just that Lukasz mentioned possibility of ink covering the ink sensor, this means a lot more dismantling which I am doubtful about. As I have found no obvious debris not sure whether to call it a day. Its this quite loud clicking/clanking noise if I could only run the printer...
Yes have got cables out but unfortunately whilst trying to hold the scanner unit with one hand it slipped and pulled out one of the cables slightly bending the socket hopefully not fatally.
Having a closer look at your picture of the porous plate and gasket, mine are slightly different the PGBK...
