I would have to say the print head has an electronic failure (sorry), but would prefer to see a service test print to confirm that. You might try removing the carts and print head, and re-seating everything...

I haven't been up there yet this year, but WYDOT finally opened the road last week. Gimme two weeks and I'll be up there. It really is one of the most beautiful places on this earth (IMO). It's reasonably easy for us "oldsters" to get up to the peak.
