As for "declaring value", it's needed for insurance purposes only. Otherwise perhaps it's needed for overseas shipment, but they don't check. Why lie anyway?
I've had reliable delivery from them (squezzyfill bottles, printer potties and such). They shipped from the UK.

Excuse my deviation from the original subject. My point was to show that "high-tax areas" typically have superior services. But that may not always be the case. I have never had to pay a customs duty on anything, nor pay a VAT.

I haven't been up there yet this year, but WYDOT finally opened the road last week. Gimme two weeks and I'll be up there. It really is one of the most beautiful places on this earth (IMO). It's reasonably easy for us "oldsters" to get up to the peak.
