OctoInkjet's shipping to US

I've placed and paid for an order for the CLI-42 chip REdSETTER from Octo.
I live in the U.S.

Email from them provides a tracking number, dated June 11.
PayPal was used to purchase; the charge was applied June 10.

FAQs about shipping on their website tell of a New York distribution location
for "small orders" delivered to the U.S.

It's now the end of June 16, and tracking still says "Label created, not yet in system."

I'm just wondering, what any other U.S. buyers have experienced with delivery times
and/or tracking info? Seems to me that 5 days of label but no movement
is a bit of a long time if it's actually originating from New York in the U.S.
as a physical shipment. If it's instead shipping from the UK, I understand
the delay before it reaches the U.S. Postal system.

Thoughts? Concerns? Advice?

I've had reliable delivery from them (squezzyfill bottles, printer potties and such). They shipped from the UK.

What form is the tracing number? Does a US delivery system recognize it (eg, USPS)?

I haven't contacted them yet.

I'm figuring it's more likely to be shipping from the UK instead of New York.
That would better explain USPS status limbo of "Label created, not yet in system."

I'll reach out to them tomorrow if there's still no change.

Well, I didn't contact them due to my own laziness, but today's status now shows
as "On Its Way to USPS" to a shipping facility in Seacaucus, NJ.
"USPS Awaiting Item SECAUCUS, NJ"

So, there's now movement. Finally.

Well, this is interesting.

I suppose I should attribute it to funds being transferred overseas
and all that goes with such transactions, as I don't know the logistics
of such things. However, there's new movement!

USPS shows "TENDERED TO DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER" now, with mention
of DHL as the intermediary carrier:

Then, the same tracking number proves valid on DHL's website,
showing it's already close to me as of very early this morning,
and "TENDERED TO DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER" again:

With this being Friday late afternoon, and the "tendered to" occurring so early
this morning not far from me, I expect to receive the package either tomorrow
or Monday.

I'm guessing that the whole length of time can be attributed to a combination of
international payment processing, and the switching back and forth between
delivery carriers.

The delivery did indeed arrive Saturday, undamaged.
All seems good after resetting all 8 of my empty cartridges.
