Hiya's,
My gawd
I fixed it
With the printer on, i slid the tray with disc on inwards pretty much as far as it would push
Then i withdrew it
Then put tray back in again almost as far as it would go
Left tray slammed in the printer
Hey presto, hit print on cd labelprint
Printed like a...
Hiya,
I'm sure something has either gone into the printer and is jamming whatever grabs and draws in the tray, or something has come out of alignment (maybe due to foreign object etc, really i dunno)
After yet again printing a fraction of the tip of a disc and then carrying on printing on the...
Hiya's,
Going through a hard stage in my life, but i want to save some precious pictures and videos to dvd/bluray etc
I have got the head on the 4500 working to a decent degree
But i have a new problem ............................
The cd tray is the 'F' type (same as my old 4300 tray)
I...
Hiya,
Just come to the same conclusion searching lol
Waiting for an email back from a uk shop, might be able to get me an ip4500
Might see if i can find a ip4300 over the channel too
Well, i'm 60 quid lighter for a printhead, but at least i'll have at least one fully working printer for now...
Hiya's,
Cannot get the black to print, even after many many cleaning cycles and numerous squirts of air
So i'm ordering a head
Also, am i correct in thinking the canon ip7250 can be reset ? (like a red setter or blue setter ?? )
I would like to have another printer as i tend to have one...
Hiya's,
I found some cart flush unopened (2 small bottles)
Never used it before but worth a try
I've soaked the 4500 head in some since early this morning
I assume i did right .............. opened lid to let carts/head come into the change/refill position, then i powered off and removed the...
Hiya's,
Well the 4300 is no more
Took it apart for the motors and other 'goodies' (got into model railways again, hence bits taken out) was really beyond repair compared to the 4500
Was showing its age, and had a damned good printing life for me
Will try and find on the bay a new head for...
Hiya's,
My beloved 4300 died (printhead grrrrrrrrrr)
My 4500 has given up the ghost on text black ink (swapped preffs to photo paper to use normal black for now)
I would like to stay with canon (upto 120 - 150 region)
Needs to be able to print cd's etc
Anyone care to chip in, i've been out...

Hiya,
Cheers for the reply :)
Well it's good to know their chipped carts are resettable ;)
Still scouring online for inks and more precise reviews of inks, As always it seems the best inks etc are in the USA
Didn't want to wait too long for a delivery but i guess if i can't dig up some ink...
Hiya's,
Stupid question i guess lol but...........
I have almost used all my inks up that came with my redsetter, It was Ink Swiss and want to order some more online today
Now on the webiste they have two types of colours eg: Photo Cyan or Cyan
Is it just the "plain" cyan etc i need to order...
To add something to the mixing pot .....
I wonder whether the ink they supplied with my redsetter was inkswiss ??
If so, I again cannot fault it
May take the plunge and order some and post back at a later day with my findings, Hmm decisions lol
Just done my second refilling of my carts
Went fine :)
Slightly OT Has anyone that bought their chipper from germany tried the inkswiss inks ???
They seem extremely cheap so a bit apprehensive as to buy them or not
Anyways filling the carts a second time was less stressful than the first...
Back Again,
After a weird kind of day (someone signed for the delivery without me knowing, ended up actually getting hold of 2hrs ago)
I first tried to reset my low red and blue before refilling
I had a low warning on the red but blue wasn't showing a warning but was near to it
So i reset...
Hiya's,
Searched everywhere for info on refilling my canon pixma ip4300
Found this site and plenty of info :)
I've ordered the chip resetter above with some inks from germany
To the UK from germany it was just over 35
Hopefully it will be as easy to use as other resetters i've had
Will...
