Before joini

Ain't that the truth. I still have the scars from trying to evangelize refilling to the non believers a few years back.

We also have a severe drop in entries into club print competitions because very few members print any more.

Complexity and high cost are cited as reasons for not printing. Both points can be resolved with a sensible refill procedure.

Too lazy perhaps it is a chore printing mounting etc and just to add another layer of complexity there is getting into the car and having to drive to the meet.....whereas digital is just an email away......
My thinking is that the judges can only pixel peep with digital and a print reveals all

You know you're a printer addict when...

The men in white coats who restrain you, and take you away in the secure vehicle do not listen when you scream, "I'm not insane, I'm a printer addict"
Should that not be, I AM INSANE and love being a Printaholic, then splash their white coats with 3rd party ink ? :p

You have your nozzle check printouts for the past couple of years tabulated and filed by printer, date, and inkset.

What's more you can retrieve any required nozzle check within two minutes.

...now where did I put my spectacles? :(

... when your family/colleagues have discussed, the possibility that medical services may be delayed in the event of a stabbing, shooting or some serious injury because they will want to check it's not just a magenta ink spill first.

Oh - why won't you like to share your nozzle checks with all other print afficianados around the world via Facebook or another platform ??

It gets worse!

For instance the person who takes a loupe or magnifying glass to compare previous nozzle checks with a current nozzle check looking for variations.

Not me you understand... I am commenting on behalf of a friend. ;)

do you know you can earn money with nozzle checks ? I was looking on Ebay for some vintage nozzle checks like from the original HP deskjets - without success.....they are probably very rare or lost forever, but I found a nozzle check pattern - no - not for free...

this is from the Ebay search window, it's probably for printers which have different nozzles for all the colors on that palette
