im not sure if this is the right spot, but I'm doing my own ink fading test. Here are the parameters:

Epson 3620
Precision colors PCDB ink
Epson brochure and flyer paper matte
Profile created with Colormunki pro

Prints placed in folder (book),
kitchen -non framed, in the open air, facing west,
framed in cheap office store frame under glass in a "typical",
outside, unprotected, under mild weather cover, facing east

Overall, after 1 month, no significant changes. Maybe some slight fading in the print kept outside. The uploaded images were scanned using the printers scanner.

Up they go for another month...

It would be interesting whether the paper - matte vs. glossy - would have a similar effect on the fading time as with dye inks even when pigment inks will fade slower overall.

The paper "issue" is interesting but I doubt it will have much practical effect. So far I've only seen what may be incipient yellowing of the paper on the print outside. If it's there it's just at the edge of my senses and "no one" would ever put an unprotected paper outside. Right?
