I removed most of the items I don't use, but that is a personal preference. I miss the multi-key shortcuts or maybe I just haven't found them. :)

The task bar seems a bit oversize and as I said previously, it is also becoming apparent that my impression that I control the computer, rather than WIN10, may well be in error.

If WIN7 prices fall through the floor, I could perhaps buy a new disc of WIN7 for peanuts and activate a separate SSD with WIN7 which would not be knocked on the head by MS as soon as I use it. May be InkSF will tell me I only need to purchase a new key?? If so it might prove to be a bargain.

I did it like this - I bought new keys for W7 incl an upgrade to the Pro version, made copies of the W7 system drives, activated the new keys on these mirrored drives, and migrated these installations to W10, so I still have the W7 systems available and running, and the W10 upgrades as separate installations. This all without a clean W7 or W10 installation, that nevertheless might be easier in some situations, it all depends as all the previous postings show . This went fine , o.k. with lots of patchwork for drivers , newer software versions etc, on a desktop and some notebooks, except one system on which one program was using an USB authorization dongle, removing that security driver took three days, and that software is not running on W10, and since I'm not willing to invest into a new version for a while I'll continue on W7 just for that program.

Well I took the plunge and purchased Win 8.1, and maybe in twelve months or so I may visit the notion of 10 again, I am not interested in their free offer.. :duc
