I've found a source of refurbished print heads for my ip6000d, but it's been sitting a long time and I can't find the power cord. I have an ip4000 with a bad print head, so while I look for that one I'd like to fire up the ip6000d. Are the power cords/supplies interchangeable?

I'm not so sure the power supplies or AC adapters as Canon calls them are interchangeable. According to the Pixma 4000 parts catalog the parts number for the 120 VAC version is QK1-1093-000 and QK1-1095-000 for the 230 VAC version.

The Pixma 6000D parts catalog lists a 120 VAC AC adapter with the parts number: QK1-0876-000, this version of the parts catalog has no listing of a 230 VAC adapter.

I'm sure the power cords are interchangeable.

It looks like it's just a power cord...and I plugged it into the ip6000D and it turned on and so far seems normal...haven't tried printing with it yet though.
