Who "owns" a used OEM inkjet cart?

If you care to check any software package, you’ll find they only give you permission to use their package but not to abuse or resell it, software code is jealously guarded and so it should be, even shareware request a donation.

You may own the printer, but not so the software that runs it, it’s like crossing a meadow, the access is free but the bull may charge you later...
