which budget printer for ciss

College kid here. What Craigslist/ebay ink jet would be the best option for a ciss setup. Budget is first priority, second is reliability, third is print quality (photo quality would be great).

Variable media size (legal, evelope, 4x6) is mid priority.

Auto duplex would be nice but is low priority.

MFC/AiO would be useful but would be even lower priority

Welcome to the forum. See if you can find a Epson 837. It offers "all" of the options you may want. Superb photo quality with fast print speeds. Many CISS options out there or aftermarket refillable carts with ARS.

A brother DCP 1xx series with a set of the oversized/extended refill carts which hold 70-100ml of ink in each cart. All the benefits of a CISS system with none of the drawbacks like clogged tubes etc. Cheap, easy to use, small footprint and basically ideal for a student.
