I was looking into getting a large format printer from Canon, either an 8 or a 12-color Lucia ink model, and was wondering which would be a good 3rd party ink provider for that.
The options are clearly not as many as with Epsons.
Image Specialists produce ink for those models, but from my previous experience with their Epson inks, I believe the glossiness of those inks on glossy and luster media is unacceptable.
Does the same happen with their Canon inks, or is it a different enough formulation to result in satisfactory glossiness on glossy media?
Is anybody using IS pigment inks and can share their experience, or can suggest another manufacturer for the above mentioned inksets?
