What have i done wrong? (refilling on an ip4200)

It's my steps. Not wrong. If you dont' want ink level show like that you can use another tank (circle change). 'cause smart chip have an ID, printer memory can remamber only one ID, so if you use circle change, ink level will be resetted.

ah yes, i saw that in another thread.

Anyway, a weeks printing is done so im going to have another go at the whole refil thing again.

update: refilled properly this time, putting scotch tape over the outlet as i threw away the orange cap - worked like a charm.

However i am still sealing the fill hole with the ball i removed (just under 'press here' on the cli8 carts) and just wonder how wrong things could go if this seal suddenly becomes non-airtight.

update: Ok, just remembered that if this becomes non-airtight then ink should drip out of the outlet (which it does)!
