In the service manuals for iP4800 and MG5100 I noticed the mentioning of two printhead manuals, see this:
I wonder what is the purpose of these manuals?
It looks like it is about if a printhead should be replaced on the warranty, Notice questions as: Are the cartridges OEM or not? And are they refilled? I think this would void the warranty. But what are the very expensive manuals? 50000¥ =333$ = 308€ and 30000¥ = 200$ = 185€. It seems these manuals are real here is one from an Italian seller at 616€ = 665$ and one from a Norwegian seller at 7032 NOK = 671$ = 621€.
These cannot be instructions for refurbishing or maybe "Power Cleaning" of printheads to avoid a warranty replacement? Canon doesn't do that or? I wonder if someone selling "refurbished" printheads has read these manuals? Or are the manuals simply instructions for troubleshooting?
