WF-3540 vertical lines

Hi,
my printer started printing vertical lines. Cleaning did nothing. Aligning the head did not help either. Nozzle check is perfect...I changed inks also nothing. Tried printing but the problem just does not go away...

Try cleaning the little rubber wheels that hold your paper in place where it exits your printer..

Will try that....although the internals are clean and i do not think these streaks are because the weels may have ink on them.

Have a look again because they look to me to be marks left by the rubber wheels on the front of your printer..

Nothing in the rollers unfortunately....It looks as if when the head is over that particular spot some nozzles do not "fire".

Nozzles either fire or they don’t, they can’t choose to stop intermittingly in one particular spot every time, so if it’s not the wheels then try cleaning the timing strip..

After your and Lukasz's recommendation to clean the timing strip, the problem is now gone...Indeed the timing strip had little specs of dirt/ink at exactly the same spot these lines were occuring. The thread can be marked as solved in order to help future readers as well....
