I once feed a sheet of parchment into my i960. It took hours to dry (and coiled up tight as it did)...but the end effect was fantastic, as it puddled on the substrate and all details were blurred...somehat like a watercolor...

That's one of potential "problems" that was a concern - I never considered that it could be a benefit.

The parchment apparently also has the necessary surface energy to cause the ink droplets to wet the surface and also to prevent the ink from rubbing off when it does dry (like it would on wax paper).
