@rsuryase, Before you can even think about fitting a waste ink tank, can you get your printer to go into the service mode, if not then there’s no point in even considering fitting a waste ink tank..

That's the problem. It seems impossible to get printers of the PGI-x50/CLI-x51 generation into service mode. At least I have seen no reports on the forum about these printers successfully entering service mode.

Welp. I just installed it brand new a few days ago. Hopefully it'll last longer than my Epson XP-820. My Epson XP-820 usually only last a year before the nozzles start to get clogged or the DVD tray stops working.
