tips on cleaning feedroller on Canon Pixma Printer

Any tips on cleaning the feed roller on Canon Pixma 4700 & 4820 printer and any other tips on maintaining these printers.

I put some warm water in a pan or bucket and put just one drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid in the water.

Then I take an old t-shirt and clean the rubber rollers one at a time with the printer unplugged.

If the rollers don’t come clean that way use windex on the t-shirt.
