Cheeseburger pizza. Chicken bacon ranch pizza. So many delicious combinations. So little time.

Pepperoni is the most popular pizza at 36% of all pies ordered
Blech. :tongue

Salty, greasy, and awful.
Cheese + Pepperoni = greasy, salty, and horrible.
Children love it; I hate it. Bland, boring, lousy and over-salty.
Cheap, too, which is why it's the most popular.

Nawp.
Load mine up with a flavorful sauce, mushrooms, sausage, onions, black olives,
maybe some ham, lots of cheese, and I'm good with it. Love it.
Sadly, many of the pizza makers in the US just can't make a really good pie,
unless you're in/near Chicago. Jake's is an example of some of the finest,
and I really do mean, the finest.

Most people will talk about UNO's for pizza in Chicago, and they do make
some good stuff, but for the 'stuffed' pizza that Uno's is mistakenly famous for,
Giordano's is really the place to get it from.
Compare if you can; it's extraordinary.

If/when in or near to Chicago, it's impossible, really, to get a poor pizza.
Because Chicago is so well-known and respected for great pizza,
it's impossible to get an even mediocre pie from any establishment
near enough to the city, including a notoriously-bad establishment
named Domino's. Within the Chicagoland area, Domino's serves
good pies, while they are sorely lacking in other areas of the country.

Peppinos, near to me, does a fair job of pizza.
They use fresh mushrooms instead of canned, locally-made sausage,
a tasty sauce, but they simply can't compare.

Seriuosly, if you want a REALLY GOOD pizza pie, in the US,
you simply have to be in or near Chicago.
I got spoiled on that stuff for around 3 years.
Nothing else compares, from Detroit to Dallas to San Francisco.

Oh, yeah. That's a pizza pie! :woot

I love a good Supreme pizza, though my standard by which I judge all is sausage and onions.

I almost got pizza for dinner. Wished I had now.

I have heard it said "you are never more than 10 feet (about 3 metres) from a rat".
I used to like Danish bacon!
