I’ve been very bad and hadn’t printed anything from my 3880 in over 4 months. It just sat there with OEM ink from early summer to late fall with without even being plugged in.
Last week I finally plugged it in and ran a nozzle check: All clear!
This thing was a thrift store find from over a year ago. Even though PK had drained completely dry due to the faulty ink switch, all nozzles were firing. Me thinks Epson piezoelectric printheads can take a bit more than people give them credit for.
