The only forum I could scroll down and see the latest posts in the bottom section of the forum.

The only forum that would take the post to the top of that section when replied to.

With one click I could mark the forum read and I can’t do that on many forums.

Unless I am misunderstanding you, the Forum still does the same in those respects.

You can click on the Recent Posts tab at the top to see all recent posts, new or already read, and newest post will be at the top of that list.

You can mark the entire Forum read with one click -- Either within the Recent Posts tab from where you then click on "Mark Forums Read" on the top right above the top-most post OR from within Forums tab -> New Posts -> Mark Forums Read if I recall correctly.
