Strange behavior of HP Photosmart Plus

After replacement of black ink in the cartridge, printer stop printing.
After "cold start" printer made a great B/W copy.
Through some time it again stop Black printing and coping BUT it is printing SCAN B/W documents!!! How it is possible and what I have to do?

how old is your printer? run print head cleaning cycle once or twice, may be trapped air in the print head , if not solved try to use new cartridge.
