Not only that, but it seems like they will take back ALL old printers for recycling..that is certainly better than our throwing them out in the local garbage dump ...

I wish Staple's Canada would get into this as well....

Staples in Alberta are collecting electronic equipment for recycle. Alberta has a electronic recycle fees. e.g. $8 for a new printer.

Correct...it's the same in B.C where I live. I sell printers, and when I buy one wholesale, I have to pay an extra $8.00 ESABC recycling fee. What the gov't does with this cash, I'll never know. It's just another tax grab.
