She has not been used since the 19th February last, and when powered on, it started with the Ink Quality Maintenance routine (Shaking).. Next it did the customary cleaning cycle, and I followed that up with a Nozzle check.
snapped with the camera.. To lazy to scan..
Because the nozzle check was perfect, I was then able to proceed to print a poster for my grandchild of Princess Peach size 325 x 465 mm and it came out great, as it should..
Then the printer ran another cleaning cycle and I was also able to observed it empting the purge unit of ink before it shut down again.
I emptied the printer potty to checked how muck ink it used for all the cleaning cycles and printing, the total used was 8.2 gm, could you imagine just how much ink it would have used in that time, if I had powered it on each week to run a nozzle print..?
P.S. 8.2 grams is about 1.5 ml per cartridge..
Here are the ink levels before and after printing, (Spot the difference !) I can't..!
