Winter printing season is over on the northern hemisphere.
Canon PRO-9500 II still going strong, chances are my stock of printheads, ink and paper will survive me .
Very satisfied with the Maxify I use professionally.

two hours of heavy lifting has seemingly made no impression.......:he
Your body is a temple. Better others worship it with you still upright. :bow

Some things are meant for the young. This might be one of them. ;)

Epson 3880. Canon Pro 9000,
It’s the fifth day of Summer here and it feels like Feckin Winter 14c...:th

So much for being retired....

This is sunny Australia...... dammit!!! 2.3 degees C this morning ....AGAIN!!!, and a top if a sizzling 10 degrees C ........everything inside and out is wet, wet, wet the air is so laden with moisture. Have to break out the Macro lens to capture some of the new forms of fungi that's suddenly sprouting on older fallen timber that has started breaking down.
Another thing added to the - to do list :barnie

The To-Do List, sometimes known as the Honey-Do List, seems like the universe -- infinite. :old

One day at a time, my friend.

I have a vague feeling that the colors are slightly off on your P800 patch sheet (1440) above. It directly shows that profiling is more than just number crunching and can become art.
I did some testing a short while ago and used 96 patches, 283 patches and 720 patches , and profiles made with them are comparing like this, they are overlaid in MonacoGamutWorks, this one shows the gamut volume overall and a cut at a luminance of L=50

L50.JPG

You barely can distinguish the border lines at this luminance level, and this at L=20 which covers the darker range
L20.JPG

That's small variances you won't be able to detect in comparative printouts, and this is the cut at lighter colors L= 85
L85.JPG

Variances are still very small; this raises the question how many patches are good, good enough or really necessary to get a correct profile, you can see that you get a profile with 96 patches which is pretty closely matching a profile based on 720 patches. I'm not going beyond patch sheets larger than 1 A4 sheet for my private use. These patches were printed on a cheap cast coated glossy paper with an L1800.
