Title says it all.

I've almost finished my first two spools of filament (PETg and PLA) and I'm curious to know folks what do you do with the empty spools ... Treat them as normal disposable garbage ?. keep them for future use (as wheels or something ) ?.
Maybe stack them one on top of the other ?. if @The Hat does that, we know where to find the tallest man-made construction in Ireland.

Spaghetti storage.

Kite string spooler. Pencil handle not included.

Wheels for a 3D printer-made car.

Convert to a Star Wars TIE Fighter.

Dangly earrings for Mum.

Mine usually go straight in the bin, if Ted doesn’t get to them first..

Not at all what I thought. Just having some fun.

Is the glass half empty, Artur5, or is it half full? ;)

@The Hat is a different kind of problem solver - he drinks what's in the glass and calls it empty. :D

@stratman, do you realize that we're waiting/hoping that you fall eventually to the charms of 3Dland ?.
You must ask yourself : 'what's the point of entering here often only to see what others do ?'. :D
I did that for years, before taking the plunge and I'm glad I did. It's fun... empty spools around and empty bank accounts.

The Hat chanted over a VooDoo doll to try to get me to buy a 3D printer. So far no printer but I did get a rash.

I peruse all the new posts, some just a glance and others thoroughly. I do enjoy reading about the 3D Printer exploits. You guys are having fun with challenges and successes. You're like the pioneers of years ago going where few have gone. Who knows... maybe one day. :)

PS Read the Epson posts, too, but still no Epson printer either. Yet. :hu

I hate it when my glass is half empty, because it’s now only half full..:ep

@stratman is immune to all our persuasive 3D viruses and hints and isn’t bothered by any of our 3D antic and can take whatever we throw at him, he knows how to fob us all off, so I gave up..
But he has a rash…:ya

Yes it did take you time to dip your toe in 3D Land, but you’ve got here, any regrets ?.. Besides the obvious..:hugs:lol:

P.S. I’ve not printed any 3D stuff now in over a week and am starting to feel the urge once again.. I’m missing the buzz.. But busy in the garden enjoying the glorious weather..:)
