My only suggestion would be to dump it and buy a Canon printer.. for peace of mind..

There were no canon printers in my price range that I can use for sublimation printing And why would canon be better?

Aliexpress printheads are refurbished, cleaned, I wouldn't take a risk with Canon printheads but may with Epson printheads as the last resort. If you have an ultrasonic bath available you may try it but do a thorough dry afterwards - you wouldn't like to get electrical shorts on the contacts from remaining water or cleaning liquid

Refurbished ugh... But... I would have aliexpress protection if I get a faulty printhead ? I think I should give it a try. Because the last time I looked for ultrasonic bath devices (1 minute ago), the cost was in the thousands. Is it common to have that? XD

edit: Oh. it seems like I can get ultrasonic bath starting at $30.

Would you rather recommend me to try the ultrasonic bath by spending $30, or $45 for a new print head?
I might have to double spend in case the bath does not work... Are there any other uses for the ultrasonic bath at home?

Forget it, Canon can’t do sublimation printing…
I closed my Branch office, it wasn’t paying to good..

Don't use an ultrasonic cleaner with Canon, HP and other thermal printheads. There have been reports of ultrasonic cleaners damaging Canon printheads on the forum.

I don't know but Epson's piezoelectric printheads might be more robust and able to withstand ultrasonic cleaning.

I did what Kevin shows in his video several times. You don’t need a ultrasonic bath. But you can put the nozzle plate in cleaning solution with a few millimeters height as often done with Canon printhead and wait a night. Press the head on a wet kitchen paper and you will see whether your nozzles come free by small color dots.
be patient it will take a while. These heads are very “stubborn“ when hard clogged.
