there’s a guy trying to sell a Pro9500 MkII since February 2018 with no luck, Not surprising, as he asks ‘only’ 500 euros
It’s terrible to see such a mighty printer just left to gather dust, and if someone buys it, which I dough at that price, the chances of getting a new print head for it are zero. She was a worthwhile printer in her day, pity because you can reset the ink counter on that model..

A PRO-9500(II) is virtually worthless since there are no replacement printheads anymore.
Although I still had a brand new head I didn't sell mine since I would not cheat a new owner. Anyway, € 150-165 was the average price and I have enough ink left, so yes I have a second photo printer (harmless, José Rodriguez has 18 of them :ep)

Maybe TS should not wait too long to sell the PRO-1.

Exactly, because the Pro 1 is unlike all the other Canon Pro printers, it needs to be used as often as possible and not forgotten, it doesn’t clog when left unused either..BUT
The best thing you can do is use the printer now and until you sell it. Printers are more likely to function properly when used regularly.
When the printer is left ideal it punishes the owner by using much more ink to bring itself back to print readiness… It’s a tossup you either use the expensive ink to print or lose it for cleaning..:th

I will repeat what a Canon printer specialist told me when I asked him wich printer was best for me, a PRO-10 or a PRO-1000:

"It depends on your volume".

Based on @The Hat's experience it applies also to the PRO-1.

ColorMunki Photo in perfect condition for 125 euros?
Yes, the same person who tries to sell in vain a Canon Pro9500 MkiII for 500 euro now has put on sale a ColorMunki Photo at 125 euro. Contrary to the printer, this price for the CM is a bargain, supposing the unit is in good working order, as he says it is. In the pictures, the device looks mint and it comes complete with all the accessories.

Do you think that this chap pays any attention to the current market prices of used articles ?, One of them absurdly overpriced and the other almost suspiciously cheap.
I was tempted to purchase the CM, to have a spare in case mine failed, but then I use it only for profiling papers/inks maybe 4 or 5 times a year, so maybe not worth the expense.

P.S.
Mr. Murphy says that if my CM fails eventually, this bargain will be no more ( @palombian would have purchased it the week before ;) )

Yes, that does seem like a nice price.

If you are not buying it then be a good chap and post the link for others who might be interested.
