I can buy a chip resetter and reset my cartridge chips, or, I could by cartridges with ARC chips and fill and refill these cartridges.

Has anyone any thoughts regarding the merits or de-merits of these two options?

Thanks

PS. Printer: Epson Stylus SX100.

I would get refill cartridges with ARC chips, resetting original Epson cartridges may work but refill of Epson original cartridges is typically difficult, if not possible depending on the type. It is typical with these ARC chips/cartridges that you get a notice from the status monitor that a cartridge is not recognized, but not that the cartridge is empty. Start the cartridge change from the status monitor, get the cartridge out, refill and insert it again and it should print again.
