Hey all,

Sorry for the basic questions, still new to small format inkjet photo printing...

I have refill kits coming in for my Epson 1430 and Canon Pro 100, from Precision Colors.

Do I need to flush the OEM in out before I load up the PC ink, or can I add the PC ink into an OEM cartridge that still has OEM ink in it?

I'm aware of the yellow issue on the Canon, so I have a spare cart coming in for that and will only fill it with PC yellow.

@tjk, there’s no need to flush your carts at all, just refill with the PC ink as the carts show low ink, for best results don’t wait till their empty...

resetting the cartridge chip is the most important part in refilling otherwise the printer will reject the cartridge.
