have had an MFC-J470D for some time, replacement ink is cheap for the most part but id like to start refilling as it is even cheaper.
I have researched a few methods and the simplest ive seen is this dont want the super long cartridges)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEQHBbIW7E4 ( not an endorsement for the company that sells the kit) i am looking for others who have used this vacuum method and what they used to do it.
I was just at the pharmacy and asked them about large syringes and they didn't have large ones.
Second part, resetting the chips, on another forum(reddit) someone suggested using two sets of Carts and switching them out, and the machine will recognize them as new.
they implied that by putting a different cart/chip from the current one it will reset, skeptical on that one.
Best source for a re-setter? Or auto reset chips that i can install on the carts i have?
also what type of ink do these use, dye or pigment?
