Anyone of the following will give good results, but I don't know about a nearby sellor for you:
http://www.inksupply.com/ selling MIS inks(reported to be Ink Specialty inks)
http://www.precisioncolors.com selling Ink Specialty inks
http://hobbicolors.com/ selling Hobbicolors inks
http://www.inktec.com/english/main.asp for InkTec inks (Google "Inktec" for retailors)
Also look on eBay for potential listings, such as this eBay Italy listing - http://shop.ebay.it/items/inktec_W0QQ_fromZR40.
Lastly, please have some grilled fresh octopus and tomato, onion and feta salad with crusty bread for me. That's some good eating on a warm evening by the sea!
Only if you want to maintain the ink monitoring function of the printer. If you don't reset the chip, then you must regularly visually monitor the amount of ink in the cartridges so that they don't run dry and burn out the printhead. There are several sources for the resetter in Europe - hopefully they will send it to Greece. The resetter is a fairly inexpensive device that will give you peace of mind when printing.SpartanWarrior said:Also when i refill my OEM cartridges on my iP4500 do i need a chip re setter?
Thanks i found this place in Germany http://www.patronenhandel.de/shop/index.php/language/en but i thought you only needed the re setter when you buy other cartridges.on30trainman said:Only if you want to maintain the ink monitoring function of the printer. That's the way I remember the octopus on Calymnos. Thanks for the pictures!
I recommend only CLI-8 and PGI-5 Canon OEM cartridges for refilling. While aftermarket cartridges may work perfectly, there are so many anecdotal reports of poor functioning that the cost savings may not be worthwhile. Maybe some forum members can suggest good aftermarket cartridges.
The eBay link you posted is for an unknown brand of ink. Saving a few drachma on ink may not result in happy printing results. I would recommend staying with one of the inks previously posted because they have withstood the test of many people and found to produce good results. Of course, if you are already familiar with another brand and its results, then go for it.
The use of a chip resetter is not necessary and is a personal choice. I'd like one but don't care to pay the current price.
