Were you talking about Canon or Epson cartridges?

For CANON most users agree to use OEM cartridges, easy to refill and to reset, best ink flow.
For EPSON the OEM carts are very difficult if not impossible to refill, therefore you have to buy refillables.
Attention should be paid to - ink flow and - auto reset chip.
