I checked several Canon shops and Amazon sites around Europe. Indeed, the Pro10s is currently unavailable almost everywhere with the exception of Amazon Spain, although those units aren’t sold directly by Amazon but by a third party vendor with a less than stellar feedback.
There also a few vendors selling Pro10s at preposterous prices ( up to 1500 euro ! ). Probably old stock, unsold for years because of the absurd pricing.

Instead, the Pro1000 and Pro100s are in stock at most places, so it doesn’t seems a general issue related to the Covidiot thing but specific to the Pro10s. It might be because Canon is going to discontinue this model very soon or for a bunch of other reasons.

Here in Belgium and The Netherlands most webshops have stock at a regular street price of € 600.
Canon rumors announced a new model for July 9.

That’s interesting. I wonder how much the new model will be..
Is there a big difference in pigment inks a d dye inks with regards to longevity (for prints displayed on the wall)
Does anyone have any experience with a Epson Eco-Tank Et 7750? It’s been recommended to us as it’s very reasonable for ink etc but not sure what the quality of print will be like as it only has 1 pigment ink? Thanks

You may search for the ET7750 in the forum, it is a 5 ink dye printer, the print quality is very good, the black pigment ink is for use on normal or matte paper only.

We did ask for them to send us two new cartridges to at least try but they said no even after escalating it to their senior team.

There’s nothing wrong with the Pro 10 you’ve got, just insist they send you a new print head… you could have one in a matter of hours..

P.S. You got to remember your most likely dealing with a Canon Service Agent, and not Canon, tell them you’ll ring Canon direct and complain, that might change their tune..
