Do you believe these homemade refill tools pierced the silicon plug at the back of the cartridge output port? Wouldn't cause problems?

I'm fairly certain the pink homemade tool I made is too loose. It doesn't seal at all.

Try to shrink some tube around it to enlarge the diameter (heat shrinkable tube is used to protect/insulate electric wires).

I use syringe needle tops which I cut down several of them and they have served me well, it fits into most cartridges, and if you’re having a problem with yours then try pushing it in a little firmer and that will hold the seal..

I got a half dozen new refilling clips from OctoInkjet and found I had to cut some of the tip off because it was to long for some cartridges, but the homemade one worked just fine..

Thanks @The Hat . I did the same thing. However my refill tool is too loose. @palombian suggested using heat shrink tubing to enlarge my tools diameter and create a tighter the fit. I'll this next.
