Read the manual downloadable from Epson.
There is a setup screen on the machine itself that you should go through.
Depending on the OS, you should also reinstall the driver to register the 3000 on the network. The 3000 is an easy one,.

Only fairly recently were setting up printers on a network easier. Each model and its hardware/software/firmware has their routines. So reading the manual is highly recommended.

Did you try it?

Generally speaking, no. The printer needs to be setup for a wired ethernet connection, meaning you will need to install the printer's specific drivers for this specific function.

If you do not have the User Manual for the R3000 then this should be your first priority. There is a section on setting up a wired ethernet connection for your printer.

What router do you have?

What operating system do you use?

Do you have a network/LAN set up already?

How many devices/computers will be accessing the printer?

There are a number of tutorials on You Tube on how to set up an network (LAN) and connect a printer wirelessly and wired.

Wired and wireless networks are independent from one another in that there is no need to clear the wireless setup to setup a wired connection.

I eventually managed to get it set up. I was trying to avoid installing the full software but once I actually caved in and done so, setting up via wired lan was really easy. The difference in speed from full wifi is night and day. Pretty much as fast as the USB connection. Certainly not enough of a difference for me to feel the need to adjust my room haha. Cheers

Welcome to the Pit of Despair :frow
New camera, gotta figure out how to process the images, then to print them, then to display them... Guess you won't be wandering the streets for a while.
Not to worry, it's all good. Well, most of it. Some, maybe.

Or I'll likely be wandering the streets swearing at the damn thing.
I'm going for a camera lesson on Monday to get a walkthrough of the basics that I'll hopefully be able to progress from
